German psychologists have found that teams wearing red uniforms score 10 percent more than those wearing any other color. Because red equals AGGRESSION, DOMINANCE, BLOOD, DEVASTATION and CRUSHKILLDESTROY.

I feel obligated to point out that “score 10% more” is a very inaccurate summary of the research. What the researchers actually found is that judges awarded a taekwando combatant 13% more points if he was wearing red than if he was wearing blue. That kind of judged scoring is very different from the kind of scoring that happens in hockey.

Exactly, Ryan. An additonal error you implied but didnt state is the erroneous use of the te term “team” itself- this study has nothing to do with teams at ALL, regardless of what Michael Tunison of the Sporting Blog states.
Unfortunately, this unsubstantiated statement that is not actually supported by the research cited being repost and blogged here is a perfect example of how low quality or misleading ‘reports’ make their way all over the Internet and into peoples minds.

Agreed with Ryan and Chris. This is actually fairly old research and has even been brought up by late night comedians.
