Don’t Move Iginla Now

from Eric Francis of the Calgary Sun,
Four months ago the Trade Iggy Movement (TIM) based its eloquent argument on a belief the 33-year-old captain “sucked.”
Extensions of that rationale suggested he was “too old,” “past his prime” and was no longer a leader.
Such notions have since been quieted after the local icon carried the team on his back for an exciting turnaround that saw him finish amongst NHL scoring leaders as one of the game’s most dominant forces once again.
The leaders of TIM have now been forced to split into two groups, voicing radically different approaches as to why the future Hall of Famer needs to go.
The first revolves around the belief the Flames need a major overhaul and the best way to do it is by jettisoning its most prized asset with an eye on bringing in talented young prospects.
The second - and increasingly popular mantra - implies the trade needs to be made for Iginla.

Yeah, don’t move Iginla because building a team solely around him has been working really well for the past few years.
