Dowell Out With Broken Foot

Blackhawks General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that center Jacob Dowell has been placed on the injured list because of a broken foot. Dowell will be out of the lineup for two-to-four weeks. Center Colin Fraser has been recalled from the Blackhawks American Hockey League affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs.

Dowell actually broke his foot in the Edmonton game last Saturday. In addition to the Edmonton game he played 14 minutes agains Vancouver on Sunday and 12 minutes against the Lightning last night.
