from Dave Stubbs at Habs Inside/Out,
Incredible. Impossible. Unbelievable.
The Canadiens scored five straight goals tonight to rally from a 5-0 deficit, then got a goal from Saku Koivu in the shootout and Cristobal Huet stopped all three himself, giving Montreal a 6-5 victory over the New York Rangers.
continued and at times, the sight is loading a little slow, probably being flooded by Habs fans…
The first time in the Canadiens history that they have had a comeback win after being down by five goals.

Geez. The Rangers came back from 3-0 last time they played the Habs, and now Montreal one-upped them by coming back from 5-0. You’d think that being up by 5, the Rangers would try to shut it down, but nooooo, they forgot all about defense. Their collapse will overshadow a great game by their “top” line, with Jagr getting 4 assists and all 3 of the forwards NOT on the ice for any goals against.
Amazing comeback by Montreal. Congrats Habs fans! I’m going to go find a drink.
