Ducks Bloggers Reap The Reward

I point to the Ducks bloggers in my NHL.com blog today. They are ecstatic and I am jealous.
The winner of the KK SCF Challenge is PuckHound61 (a very active KK member!), who picked Ryan Getzlaf and was off by only :24 seconds.
The winner of the NHL Fathead Contest has also been selected…
I think having a Fathead lifesize image of Nicklas Lidstrom on my wall would put me ever so close to my dream of being a forward in the NHL.
Just Imagine… As I build up some speed and pass center ice with the puck…I start to get excited as I cross the blue line. Just then I look up . I see “Mr. Norris”, Nicklas Lidstrom straight ahead. Self doubt immediately settles in, and I begin wondering how Nick was going to systematically dismantle the play I was about to make.
Would he force me to the outside where I’d have no shot? Would he be perfectly positioned to take away the pass? Or would he simply make me look silly by poke checking me before I even decided what I was going to do?
And then back the other way go the Wings on a 3 on 2 as I try to figure out what just happened. I need to get to the bench.
On second thought, the NHL isn’t a good idea for me….at least until Nick decides to hang up the skates.
