Ducks Carter Out With Broken Wrist

Rookie center Ryan Carter suffered a broken right wrist in Wednesday night’s victory over the Colorado Avalanche, an MRI exam performed Thursday revealed.

Carter was checked into the board by Colorado defenseman Jeff Finger but the injury occured when Carter’s right hand went through an opening in the glass that is used by photographers.

That ranks near the top of all-time flooky injuries. Too damn bad it wasn’t Pinhead or Fairy.

It was just a matter of time.  I’ve always thought it was ridiculous to have those holes in the glass just so photographers could take clearer photos.
