from Dan Wood of Ducks Blog at the OC Register,
“There has been no change in our situation,” Ducks general manager Brian Burke said Tuesday. “We’re still evaluating different options. We’re not in position to do anything with Teemu at this point in time. That may change. We’ll see.”
The issues are no different than they have been for nearly two months, with the Ducks more than $2 million over the NHL’s $56.7 million salary cap. Until they find a way to clear that hurdle, the Ducks can’t sign Selanne.
