I couldn’t believe Burrows. He spent the entire fight pulling Keith’s hair. WOW.

Yeah. Almost as lame as running a defenseless goalie…

*SIGH*

This fight cost me my fantasy playoffs.

Fun to watch, though…

You’re right.  But still, come on.  I don’t watch burrows often, but as far as I know he’s got a rep for running his mouth, so you’d think he’d be able to back it up a little bit.  then again, i could be completely wrong, i’m on the east coast and don’t watch much of the west.

They may need to have extra officials on hand during the playoff series just to break up fights.

It’s one thing to bump into a goaltender, in an attempt to get him off his game - but to whack him right in the face when he’s looking up and following a puck that bounced into the air?  That’s gutless.

at least Burrows dropped his gloves unlike that gutless little puke Burrish. he punched Daniel Sedin with his glove on at least 10 times, he’s the one Shane O’Brien was trying to get at. how do you think Chicago would feel if Hordichuk was doing the same thing to Havlat or Toews? Byfuglien ran like a little girl after he hit Luongo too , class act those hawks.

What kind of tool takes #1 and agrees to be captain when their a goalie?  What a doorknob…  good to see some good old fasioned scrapping on the ice, though.  Personally I think Chicago got the short end of the stick, all those retaliatory shots after the video reply, all the hair-pulling, if Vancouver wasn’t smart enough to retaliate right away, the late stuff should have garnered the greater penalty.  Bitchy little canadians…

Jackets vs. Flames and now ‘Hawks vs. Canucks.

We have the makings of TWO brutal series.

Should be fun.

Dumbass chicago..why whack a goalie in the face?  You didn;t bump him you ran him over.  As for hippy dave, burrowws was in a headlock…can’t really throw a punch from there, plus whathisnuts had caught burrows punching hand in his jersey.  Loungo is gonna make us beat chi town in the playoffs!!!
Can;t wait/
Maybe hippydave should go smoke some more weed to cope with the pain.

Somehow I think Hippy Dave will get over a Chicago loss.

Bad move by Byfuglian.  Obviously Chicago was frustrated and they showed that they are a young team; however, the hair pulling by Burrows was pathetic.  Playoffs are going to be fun to watch!

Did I see slapping? Hair-pulling? And clothes-ripping? Was this a hockey fight?

Seriously though, not sure how Byfuglian didn’t get at least a goaltender interference penalty right off the bat. He could’ve easily been assessed a double minor for roughing for that play alone. I guess it looked kind of “innocent”, like he was just “fighting for position”... but come one, he knew it was the goalie and he had a chance to give him one in the chops.

Wow.  Never really been a fan of bFuglyien ... but i kinda agree with the hippy that anyone who wears number 1 and is a goalie-captain kinda deserves a little extry.

aside from that, good thing keith’s hair isn’t a weave.  that shit woulda been f’ed up, and he woulda had to get his hair did again.

Morons.

Number 1 is a goaltender number from back in the days when players didn’t chose their own numbers, they were assigned.  That is why a lot of defencemen wear 2, 3 and 4; those were defencemen numbers.  A goalie who wears number 1 is honoring a decades old tradition.  Being from Montreal, not San Francisco, Luongo would be aware of this tradition.

Yo, Hippy-Dave..

“Bitchy little canadians…”... dude, half the Hawks roster is made up of Canadians, so careful where you point your whiney, cheese covered fingers… no body in this game was faultless… get over yourself
