TSN’s Bob McKenzie reporting that Erik Cole is in the process of working out a 2 year deal to re-sign with the Hurricanes.

Update 4:08pm ET: TSN—
The Carolina Hurricanes have re-signed veteran winger Erik Cole to a two-year deal.
Cole, 30, struggled early in the season after getting traded to Edmonton, then rebounded late last season, scoring 15 points in 17 games after returning to the Hurricanes, giving him a total of 42 points and an even rating in 80 games.
Update 5:02pm ET: Per Darren Dreger, the deal is 2 years, $2.8 million and 3 million.
