Esche Will Play In KHL Next Season

Having to choose between a return to the National Hockey League and a return to the Kontinental Hockey League in Russia, goalie and Whitesboro native Rob Esche has chosen the latter, telling WKTV he will honor the final year of his contract with SKA St. Petersburg.

i thought he was an OK goalie. he knew he will be a career backup in the nhl so he signed in khl where he could be a bonnafied no 1 goalie for years to come.
