“I don’t think I’ve ever been put in a situation that I can’t handle. I’ve never backed down from a challenge and this year I’m not going to start.”
-Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price. More on Price from TSN.

he’s what 21? I don’t know why the canadiens brought him in thinking he was the second coming of patty roy or martin brodeur...goalies need at least 2 years ahl seasoning before they should take the reigns anywhere. Look at what the penguins did with fleury...threw him to the fire and he’s still a barely competent starting goaltender. No doubt they’ll give halak the nod but the results will be the same, if the canadiens make the playoffs it will be PRICE in net not halak...could be a traded for goalie however.

The kid had a sophmore slump, like tons of 2nd year NHLers have gone through. Who gives a sh**.

If he’s not going to start, does that mean I should take Halek a few rounds early in my fantasy draft?
