Well then, Oren, we look forward to seeing your “best top six forwards in the league” play against our top-six forwards in the Finals next year. Oh, rats, I forgot. You don’t have any defensemen. Geez, that’s a shame. Too bad you didn’t think of that when you signed 963 forwards and traded away defensemen at the rate of two-for-one.

I would vote that Dallas, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Calgary, and Detroit all have a better set of top-six forwards than Tampa Bay. Seventh out of thirty teams is still pretty good, but I think Mr. Koules’s views are slightly skewed.
