If it’s true that anyone on the planet can be linked to another with only six degrees of separation, what is the breakdown of hockey connections?
One degree of separation?
In hockey’s small world, everyone seems to know everyone else. Coaches mentor other coaches, a fraternity that connects with hundreds of players over the course of a career. Scouts, coaches and former players become general managers and tap into links forged over decades.
