Before the Avalanche returns to Denver for a Sunday home game against Calgary, Colorado general manager Pierre Lacroix will make deals to add a winger and/or a defenseman.
How about Washington defenseman Brendan Witt, who makes $1.67 million this season, and/or St. Louis right wing Dallas Drake, who takes down $1.2 million?
