This article is not worth my time.
He seems ready to get down on his knees and “applaud” the various dumb@$$ GMs who vastly overpaid for underperforming NHLers.

The only listed deals that were acceptable were:
Joseph, Rolston, Conklin, and Kolzig.

Theodore and Redden do not get “B” status.
Raycroft does not get a “C”.
Chicago does not get an “A” for their 12 million dollar goalie conundrum, either.

Chicago’s goalie situation is hilarious. They have 12 mill allocated to goalies, the Wings have just over 2 mill, and you could argue that the Wings have the better goaltenders.

What did you expect?  ESPN hates the NHL, so why would you expect them to put anyone knowledgeable on the reporting team?  I’m sure it was a tough decision for Barry Melrose to give up his 30 seconds-a-week ESPN time to go and coach the Bolts...since they treat the NHL like it’s a second-tier league for a second tier sport. (Which is so far from the truth.)

-And now back to more basketball highlights: Dunk, 3-Pointer, Lay-up, Dunk, 3-pointer, Lay-up…

@Coldwar—agreed, hardly worth anyones time.  This guy (Burn) must have watched less hockey than half of the Canadian populous to make such asinine judgments.  What a sham I am not getting paid his ESPN dollars…
