Flyers Lose Coburn To, Uh…

from the Courier Post,

After the Flyers’ fight-filled 2-0 loss to the Rangers at the Wachovia Center, Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren announced that defenseman Braydon Coburn was resting in Temple University Hospital after tearing a muscle in his buttocks.

Coburn, the only Flyers defenseman to play in every game this season, had what Flyers athletic trainer Jim McCrossin described as a fascia release, where the torn muscle is released to promote healing.

Medical evidence that he actually has been “busting his ass” this season.

Seriously, I hope he heals quickly.  It sounds very painful.
