Roger Millions of Sportsnet is in Detroit today to cover the Flames/Wings game. Roger was on the pre-game radio show and the topic turned to Forsberg.
Roger feels Peter will end up in with the Ducks- somehow Burke will grab him unless the Flyers get another offer they cannot refuse.
Millions mentioned Forsberg has a home near Anaheim and that may be a selling point for him.
Forsberg did meet with Snider today, but don’t expect any news to come out of the meeting. What can the Flyers say that won’t damper their short and long term plan for him?
They are much better off keeping everything under their hat, and just pulling the trigger when a deal they like is offered. That is of course, if Forsberg will agree to waive his NTC.

Anaheim seems to be the place for foppa. Flyers tried to get Bobby Ryan couple years ago and burke tried to trade ryan to flyers for carter or richards
there is rumor going around its foppa for Bobby ryan and 2nd rd pick

Burke could stand pat and the Ducks would still more than likely advance far into the playoffs, so its 50-50 if you ask me.
Giving up Bobby Ryan is a lot, he has a lot of potential.

Clarke was obessed with Bobby Ryan when was GM and still has control over Holgram.
I can guarntee you THe Flyers GM will screw this up. every member of philly media and flyers fan base thinks this guy will screw it up

I have also heard Bobby Ryan plus a second rounder for Forsberg. Bobby Ryan is a local kid from the Philly area and is well-known around there.
Ryan does have a lot of potential--think about it: other than the spuriously great Sidney Crosby, he was the top pick, making him roughly equivalent to a No. 1 overall in most years… but ...
What would you rather have? Potential for a good player or potential for a Cup?
Unless another team can find a trade with more local appeal for the Flyers and appeal for Forsberg to waive his clause, Millions is right.

I don’t think the Ducks have a second round pick to give up. Nor a third round pick. Definitely no first rounds to give away.
