At the risk of generating a whirlwind of speculation, Peter Forsberg believes there is reason to hope he can return to the NHL this season. He’s said to be “cautiously optimistic."…
To date, Forsberg has avoided any contract or meaningful discussions with teams that would lead to a commitment. However, he has acknowledged his fondness for the 3 NHL teams he has played for, namely Colorado, Philadelphia and Nashville.
Perhaps, wishful thinking, however sources close to the Flyers believe Philadelphia to be Forsberg’s destination of choice.
