Though not entirely unexpected, this is an ominous sign.
Three games into his Colorado comeback, Avalanche forward Peter Forsberg sat out Sunday night’s game against the Dallas Stars because of a groin injury.
added 8:32pm, Also, Adam Foote is missing his 2nd game due to a sore hip.

I think he’s made from that recycled, hippie toilet paper. It’s really expensive and falls apart the moment you need it most.

In my role as a true hockey person, I feel badly that God apparently did not give Peter a body adequate for the game he loves and excels at. In my role as a fan of a team other than the Avs, I smile mightily.
Karen: Nope, never been hit in the crotch with a hockey stick… I presume you have??? What was that like???
I was, however, hit in the crotch with a hockey puck, back when I was a stupid kid playing goaltender, cupless, on a backyard rink. It… umm, how do I describe this… really freakin’ hurt. After about 45 minutes kneeling on the ice I managed to gingerly make it home and went straight to bed. My folks must have wondered what was going on. It hurt the rest of the night.
And something that occurred to me re Ass Wipes: most of us are probably nowhere rich enough to hire that job out, so we all take on that role from time to time—hopefully daily.
