I’m sure someone could come up with a 1998/2008 comparison favoring the Red Wings. I’m too lazy to do it, though. These sorts of exercises are worthless, of course, since they are selective, and ergo subjective, by their very nature. But if it gives the Pens fans hopes, I guess that’s what matters.
