Franzen Expected Back On Tuesday

Coach Mike Babcock said he expects forward Johan Franzen to return to the lineup for Tuesday’s game against Pittsburgh. Franzen has been out since Oct. 25 with a sprained left MCL. If he returns Tuesday, he will have missed only five games, half of what he missed with a similar injury last year around this time.

While I hope this is good news, I would like to give him maybe ‘bout another two weeks to truly settle his knee…even if it’s just a sprain. In the meantime, hit the leg machines and start building up the strength around the knee.
