Kukla’s Korner will, of course, be updating all free agent news as it breaks after the deadline tomorrow. However, there are a variety of other ways you can keep on top of things.
Here are six good sources of UFA news for your viewing, listening and online entertainment for July 1st
#1. TSN / TSN Broadband / NHL Network - Free Agent Frenzy Show
Airing Sunday July 1, from 11am to 2pm ET and 6pm to 7pm ET.
The program is being produced partly as a celebration of Canada Day, NHL style. Only available in Canada that we know of right now. (more here)Update:NHL.com will be streaming the feed from the NHL Network online. Excellent news for U.S. fans!
Note: Here is the direct link to 56K online video feed at NHL.com. (only available in USA). For higher quality video stream 300K - go here.
#2 Spector’s Trade Rumors
Can’t ever forget Spector. Watch for breaking news and analysis all day long.

#3 Leafs Lunch Radio
Airing Sunday, July 1, beginning at Noon ET
Link#4 Fan590 Radio in Toronto
Airing Sunday, July 1, beginning at Noon ET

If other hockey bloggers are providing updates and analysis during the UFA period, please feel free to add links to your blogs in the comments of this post. Anyone else with suggested sources of info, go ahead and add those, too.
I hope it’s an entertaining day! ![]()

Battle of NY will be liveblogging the TSN/NHL.com coverage, and looking through all the gossip, and much like the draft, will get a few insiders (“Alanah, what do you think about the Canucks acquiring Sheldon Souray?) to talk about what they felt about what their teams did.

What do I think about the Canucks acquiring Souray? Not a chance in hell, if I were to guess. If there’s anything the Canucks will throw mad-money at today, it’s scoring. I can’t see how Souray would make any sense for them at all.
I suppose we’ll find out soon.

Nice list, Alanah! I’d rate my site higher than Leafs Lunch and The Fan, but still…;)
Have fun today, it’s gonna be crazier than the trade deadline.

You know what Lyle, I can change that. Since I doubt the Hockey Central of Leafs Lunch crew will be in contact with me throughout the day, I am moving you up on the list!!!

I was joking about Souray.
How do you guys know about the NHL.com stream for sure? Is there a link somewhere? It doesn’t say anything on the NHL site.

Steve, I have my sources, lol. It will be there.

This is what happens when you doubt Paul Kukla.

NHL Preseason starts 75 days from now in the place where the last season ended (i.e. Kings-Ducks at the Ponda Center on 9/13) and NHL Premiere is 91 days away at the 02 Arena in London! But to day will be a little slice of hockey Heaven for us all!

I figured/hoped you were joking, Steve. But I like to “play nice” when I can!

I’ll be following the Caps and general movement across the NHL at A View from the Cheap Seats, as will a few of the other more illustrious Caps’ bloggers such as OnFrozenBlog and Japers’ Rink...
...of course mine will be the best

I cant get into Sportsnet’s tracker, Spector’s site, Leafs Lunch, or 590 The Fan. Have to stick to the TSN feed.

A lot of the sites are getting hit big time. I am keeping my fingers crossed but we should be A-OK.

Mine was down momentarily but it’s running fine now. Heck I couldn’t get into TSN for about ten minutes.
