Sharks fan favorite Jeff Friesen will return to San Jose as a tryout player when Sharks training camp begins Sept. 20 at Sharks Ice at San Jose…
“I’d love to end my career here,” said Friesen, who won a Stanley Cup in 2003 with New Jersey. “But first things first and I have to take advantage of the opportunity.”

Whoopee!
Wow, not much sentiment for a guy who had a couple of stints with your team. But I guess he did sort of stick it to you in the ‘03 finals…

The guy did nothing for the Ducks, twice. He has the potential to be a good hockey player, but I feel his biggest downside is he has no drive to be better.

Whoopee! You know how they call the left over players called up during the playoffs “Black Aces”? Well, they should call guys like Friesen “Grey Aces"… If you don’t play for a professional team during a whole season (or two), and it’s not due to injury, then just retire already!
