I think Sour Grapes is losing what’s left of his mind.  Typically he refuses to recognize excellence on the ice unless it’s an English speaking Canadien who grew up between Ontario and Alberta.

“Levy:  At some point don’t you need to recognize the performance of the Red Wings?

Sour Grapes:  I feel sorry for Crosby.”

WTF?!  Senility is ugly.

Not too mention Grapes sticking up for someone he dubber “Der Bingle” and likes to call out for whining, complaining to the refs and seemingly going down easy for someone who’s “so strong on his skates”.

Don Cherry is an absolute Xenophobe who needs to be silenced. His old, ignorant schtick needs to be retired. Levy and Melrose laughing at his ridiculous comments just reinforce his disgusting attitude. ESPN should be ashamed of putting this garbage on their network.

Mr. Cherry should take to the stage in a production of The Wizard of Oz. While his feeble “thtop it, thtop it” gag had nothing to do with reality, it was a spot-on imitation of Burt Lahr as the Cowardly Lion. With his blustery attitude and lack of facts to back up his arguments, though, he might be even better suited for the role of the wizard. Either way, that suit definitley belongs in Emerald City…and not here.

No kidding.  I heard that lame rip on Datsyuk (seriously, does anyone out of grade school do that anymore?) and could not believe that I actually saw that on the air.

I’ve hated the patronizing attitude the WWL had toward hockey for years, but if this is the best they can do I prefer they ignore it and focus on Scrabble, the spelling bee, and poker.

Well coming from a guy wearing the stuff he wears, the limp wrist attempt shouldn’t be much of an act.
On ESPN Don gets the best of show, the mullet gets runner up.
Levy gets fired for saying maybe the Wings deserve some credit.
