Well, the Center Ice free preview is over, and I won’t lie—I’m a bit bummed out by that.
If there are any folks out there thinking about renewing, or just considering their options in general for getting more hockey than they can (should) handle, let me offer my opinion of the NHL’s official online offering, Gamecenter Live. This is my second year as a subscriber to this service, and so far I’ve been pretty happy with it.

Kukla’s Korner is always a free service for readers, but it costs some money to maintain. If you’re ever in a position to donate a few dollars to help out, we’d be very appreciative.
I’d add a few warnings to Japers’ take: The NHL’s customer service for GameCenter Live stinks in general, with people available in the afternoon/evening only, and in terms of billing, you can neither opt out of an installment plan if you don’t like the service, nor can you prevent the NHL choosing to tweak your billing options to automatically renew the service via a lump-sum payment. They’ve done that to me twice.
