With all the headliners they have, you sort of forget about the other really good players they have like Dustin Byfuglien.
Well, the Hawks fans better enjoy him this year because the salaries of all of those “headliners” are going to cost them not only Byfuglien but Sharp and at least one other 2nd- or 3rd-line player next year.
Bowman Jr. has bet everything on winning the Cup this year…and they might do exactly that. But next year? And the next few years after that? It’s going to be a completely different team, and a whole different story.

chicago is going to have a really good team for a very long time. yeah, they will lose some great players, but they are in really good shape for the future.
