from Adam Proteau of the Hockey News,
As every player on a sub-par NHL team is saying these days, it’s still early in the season and there’s still a lot of hockey yet to be played. But it’s never too soon to start identifying and analyzing some of the good, bad, and ugly surprises of the 2007-08 campaign.
THE GOOD
The Canadiens
Yeah, this is the team I believed would plummet to the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings this year.

Kukla’s Korner is always a free service for readers, but it costs some money to maintain. If you’re ever in a position to donate a few dollars to help out, we’d be very appreciative.

Proteau can shove it, as it pertains to the Jackets’ attendance. Regardless of the team’s hot start, it’s still going to take time to entice the fans back. And showing that this isn’t just a flash-in-the-pan (considering where they were projected to finish) is a good way to start.
That, and the stupid Buckeyes beating the expectations they had isn’t helping, either.
