Good News For Ortmeyer

Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that right wing Jed Ortmeyer has been cleared to start non-contact practice.
Extensive medical testing has shown that Ortmeyer has fully recovered from a pulmonary embolism that was diagnosed on August 13, 2006.

I’m impressed he came back so fast. Usually people with blod clots are on blood thinners (bad for hockey) for at least 6 months.
