from CBC,
Hockey legend Gordie Howe was a surprise runner in the Olympic torch relay on Wednesday through southwestern Ontario.
The 81-year-old Hall of Famer’s name was not on the list of torchbearers released in advance by organizers.

His name wasn’t on the list? I like to think he was stealing it.

Haha, like to think he was stealing it. IT would look great next to all of his NHL trophies. That would be a cool surprise to people who went to see the ceremony!
They also are making Gordie Howe wine now with an embossed label and fasmile signature, looked pretty cool.
