Watching the HD feed of the Devils/Canes game. In OT, poof!, Directv logo pops-up. Wait a minute thinking it will come back, nope, switch to the SD feed of the game, it’s over, Devils win.

There was a flicker on the broadcast I was watching (TSN using the MSG+ feed)... though it never actually went out completely, it was going crazy for 30 seconds or so…

Same thing happened to me. DirecTV already got a few angry calls from me this season. On a related note, the NBC affiliate in DC turned off the Pens/Flyers game at 6pm, with 10 minutes left in the game.

man, its just that the priority of hockey is not that high in the states. Man, versus announcers and analysts are horrible. The play by play makes me cringe

Did anyone get the weird 16:9 squished to 4:3 image from DirecTV off the Versus game 1? Man DirecTV doesn’t seem to have their sh*t together.

Paul, I think, lives close enough to Windsor to pick up CBC.

Yes I get CBC but it is not available in HD here. Plus the Canes game was on TSN which we don’t get in the States.
I can’t imagine these issues happening with the NFL, MLB or NBA, it is about time the NHL gets some respect.

Ya gotta move to Canada, Paul. I enjoyed the TSN feed of the game with no problems, plus three games on Hockey Night in Canada.
Just had to rub it in a little.
