The native of Montreal, Quebec has signed a three-year contract with the Canadiens, reportedly worth $4.5 million. The deal includes a partial no-trade clause.

Georges Laraque has just died and gone to hockey heaven.  A good French Canadian boy who loves the cameras, loves the press, the media spotlight, and is outspoken as all hell get out getting to work the crowd in two languages?  And they’re gonna PAY him for that?
