Habs Take Advantage Of Their Home Ice - Capitals Get Their Ice Back

Canadiens defeat Bruins 5-0.  Bruins put up a fight the whole series but the Canadiens had their number tonight.

Washington takes on Philadelphia tomorrow night in a game 7 after defeating the Flyers 4-2.  Ovechkin had the game winner early in the 3rd and put the game out of reach with another goal later in the 3rd period.

BC - keep faith! Look at it this way, the lack of energy the Flyers showed in this game only means they are rested for tomorrow, smile.

You mean the lack of energy they showed tonight and Saturday. And in case it’s not clear, I will be attending the funeral in person.

I think I created a self-fulfilling prophecy. I bought tickets, ergo, game 7 became inevitable. But as someone said in another post, game 7s don’t happen every day, so it’s definitely something to see. I just hope I don’t want to gouge my eyes out at the end.

What a fantastic come back last night by the Caps. I’m worried that the Caps will have a letdown after working so hard to force Game 7. I hope I’m wrong because a 2nd Round Pens/Caps match-up will be phenomenal! (And preferable to the Rangers. wink)
