+42 almost Bobby Orr like?
Hmm? Orr was +579 for the 8 full seasons he played when the +/- stat was kept.
He led the league in plus-minus 6 of those 8 seasons. Since then only two players have led the league in plus-minus more than once (Gretzky-4 & Pronger-2). His average for those 8 seasons is an amazing +72. Not to mention his single season NHL record of +124. Bobby Orr like? I don’t think so.
In fact over the last 14 seasons the plus-minus leader has had a +/- higher than +42. I know it was not his main arguement for Ovechkin to win the Hart and it is a very good number for Ovechkin but I don’t think it’s “almost Bobby Orr like”.

Hart trophy goes to the most Valuble player to their team; that being said Ryan Miller wins.

It would have to be clinically insane to say Miller doesn’t win the Hart. Ovechkin Second. Crosby Third. Sedin Fourth. Brodeur Fifth.
