via Mlive,
Dominic Hasek will return to Detroit to mind the net for another season, Red Wings General Manager Ken Holland said today.
Holland is in talks with Hasek’s agent, Ritch Winter, on the terms of another one-year contract with the 42-year-old goaltender, and they hope to have a deal in place by next week’s NHL Entry Draft.
Now for any of you who emailed me stating Dwayne said he wasn’t coming back, take this back to him and stop falling for his sthick.
added 7:49pm, from the Detroit Free Press,
“Dom is coming back, I talked to both him and his agent today, and they both confirmed he is coming back,” Holland said. “I really kind of knew on Friday, but I told Dom’s agent I wanted to make sure Dom is comfortable with the decision. He’s got the support of his family. He’s excited about going to Traverse City for camp.”
more and Holland doesn’t see the contract being an issue. If Holland says that, book it folks!
