He thinks somebody, maybe him, could score 70 goals in today’s NHL. That’s the limit.

“I think that’s possible.”
He admits to being selfish and doesn’t apologize for it.
“You have to be,” Kovalchuk says. “When it’s time, it’s time. You don’t have to be shy. You take over. It’s an emotional game, a team game, but sometimes you need to be selfish (to score).”
