Here are some quotes with my paraphrasing of the questions from the media scrum.
Your thoughts on the suspension? “It was definitely a bad penalty at a bad time in the game. But I did not hit him in the head. But that’s the decision they made, and I have to live with it.”
Bad timing, considering the NHL general managers were in Florida discussing head hits this week? “Yeah it wasn’t a real smart play and it wasn’t real great timing. But it is what it is, and I’ve got to live with it.”...
What do you think of Ott calling it a cheap play? “I’m not going to get into a war of words with him. Obviously he’s taken his fair share of suspensions in the league. For him to all of the sudden have a halo on his head is kind of funny.”

It show in the replay that he never even hit Ott’s head. But Ott sold it like a champ.
