He tried to forecheck the Kron-wall; my guess.

F me in the F’in A. If he doesn’t go to Stockholm, I don’t go to Stockholm.
I’m taking my frustration out on the Men’s League competition tonight.

Looks like Abbi will get a few weeks worth of NHL experience before heading to GR this year. Hugely tough break for Helm, but definitely an opportunity for Abbi.

There’s not enough cap space to bring up Abdelkader without putting Helm on LTIR, and it doesn’t sound like Helm is going to be out long enough for that to happen. Maltby, Draper and Eaves on the Fourth line is how it’s going to be until Helm gets back.

Why is this news? Now…if he bit the ear off of a prostitute then I’m game. This isn’t going to make him any softer.

Acromioclavicular - joint between clavicle and acromion (part of scapula/shoulder)
Hurts like hell, as this is the only bony connection to the entire arm.

If it looks like Helm will be out for four weeks, he’ll definitely go on LTIR and that will open up enough cap space (by a meager $50k) to keep Abbi in Detroit. If it’s only two weeks, it’s a moot point because Helm will be back before the season starts.
