Hey It’s Me, Shanny!

from David Kolb’s blog at MSG.com,

After the Rangers win vs. Islanders on March 5, as a result of Matt Cullen’s shootout goal, the three stars were being announced. Cullen, who was that night’s first star, jumped back on the ice and acknowledged the fans cheers. He then started to make his way to the dressing room, but was first patted on the shoulder by a guy in a black suit, who perhaps Cullen thought was a fan, until Shanahan hollered, “It’s Shanny!”
A huge smile lit up Cullen’s face as the two made their way back to the dressing room.

more on the return of Shanahan tonight…
