Haas also has run-ins with men who come to the bar for a drink and are surprised to see him arrive at the table instead of a bikini-clad beauty. It’s one of the fastest ways to lose a table.
“Guys come to a bikini bar looking for a bikini girl, not some guy,” Haas said. “They’re like ‘I want to see a girl, I don’t want to see you.’”
It’s a tough job, but it comes with scenery that would appeal to any guy - sun, sand and beautiful women. But Haas swears his intentions are pure. The recent college graduate spent last year playing on a minor league ice hockey team in Pennsylvania. Serving drinks at the beach bar pays the bills but is flexible for his hockey career.
“Since I’m playing hockey again next year, this is a good opportunity for me to make some money for the season, and not have to commit to a real job,” Haas reasoned.
