Holmgren Still In Limbo

Team president Peter Luukko recently said that he and team chairman Ed Snider want to meet with Holmgren in the “near future” to discuss a contract extension.
Snider, however, won’t comment on the situation, and Holmgren said he’s unaware of any new schedule for a meeting.
Holmgren did say that Snider called to congratulate him on moves such as the Peter Forsberg and Martin Biron trades.
“I think he said “good job,’ ” Holmgren disclosed during an interview Monday in his office. “He seemed happy about it. He seemed excited when he said it.”
