Hossa Down Again

Marian Hossa was hit from behind in St. Louis, and ended up ramming the end boards head first. The hit from Roman Polak was hard, but not necessarily dirty. Still on the ice but Blues announcers saying he has movement in limbs, etc.
Hossa just waved as he was being taken off the ice on the stretcher. Also, as the Blues announcers pointed out, the Wing players skated away from Hossa in what appeared to be a fairly optimistic manner…if that’s possible.
Fox Sports Detroit’s Ken Daniels reports that the Wings say that Hossa’s being sent to the hospital for precautionary measures.
