How Seven Words Can Make A Difference

from Greg Wyshynski of PuckDaddy,

Kukla has another view of the save

Earlier today, I noticed KK traffic was higher than normal and at 2:15pm, I happened to glance at my stats and noticed this- The most visitors ever was 2044 on 01/29/2010 02:14 pm

What had happened was Greg pointed back to KK post of the Johan Hedberg video with his sweater over his head.  Now Greg could have taken the same YouTube video that I posted and used it himself, and I have not talked to him about it,  but he noticed I had it up pretty early after the play happened and decided to give me a little ‘pub’ for it.

I just wanted to point this out in public of what Greg did and hope all bloggers would take notice.  A few years back, that was how things were done and it still is, but not on the regular basis that it once was.

Some bloggers will never get it, they want to make it look like they are the creator of breaking news or want all the glory, but I prefer the type of thing Greg did much better.

added 10:34pm, Ha, via the twitter of Ben Wright of the Atlanta Thrahsers,

Thanks to the Johan Hedberg video (and some Yahoo! love) today was the busiest day in atlantathrashers.com history.
