Huet Would Like To Remain In Washington

“I’m sure we’ll have a chance to reconvene and continue our discussions,” Bartlett said in a telephone interview. “The flow back-and-forth has been pretty steady.”
Bartlett declined to divulge specifics, but he did indicate that Huet, 32, is seeking a three-year deal. If the negotiations hit a snag, he said, it likely would be over money, not length of contract.
ad_iconBartlett’s comments come a day after Huet said in an interview with French newspaper L’Equipe that his first priority is to remain in Washington.
