Inconclusive was the final ruling on the no-goal in last night’s Leafs/Blackhawks game.

The referee tandem here is the same on who called the Wings/Canucks game on Thursday. The same guys who called the Wings for a high sticking penalty when Mikael Samuelsson’s stick hit his own teammate up high. I know they weren’t in on the review, but if the right call had been made on the ice, it would’ve been harder to make a no-goal ruling. Just saying…

I’m going to say, the war room made the right call. In the NHL, it has ALWAYS been that in order for there to be a conclusive call of goal when the call was on the ice was no goal, there has to be video that clearly shows the goal line and the puck/goalie’s glove with white ice between the two. None of the video angles show that, therefore no goal.
