Shop.NHL.com has experienced the biggest sales year in its 11 years of operation, riding exciting on-ice performances and the onset of new merchandise such as St. Patrick’s Day themed items to a 47% increase in sales of NHL-licensed product compared to the 2006 fiscal year. The Buffalo Sabres and Anaheim Ducks were the two biggest gainers for the 2007 fiscal year on Shop.NHL.com, increasing sales 497% and 339%, respectively. Overall, 27 of the 30 NHL clubs showed gains in the fiscal year compared to 2006.
