from Tim Sassone of Between the Circles at the Chicago Daily-Herald,
Hawks coach Joel Quenneville didn’t rule out Martin Havlat and Nikolai Khabibulin playing Wednesday in Game 5 at Detroit, but it doesn’t look good - particularly for Khabibulin.
Neither player practiced Tuesday morning at the United Center but both accompanied the team to Detroit.
“We’ll have a better assessment (Wednesday),” Quenneville said.
a bit more on the Hawks…

Sorry to go off topic, but another post on that blog talks about Huet. can somebody please explain to me what exactly he did earlier in his career to garner $5 million a year?

What Huet did was come around at a time when goalies are at a severe premium and mediocrity is being rewarded. Any young goalie who a decent year is seen as the next Patrick Roy and is given a retarded, huge contract and declared the saviour of a franchise.
Got a shitty team? Well, just spend $4-$7M on the goalie that had a decent regular season on a different shitty team!
Look at a guy like Gerber! He had a decent year in his first year as a starter and was replaced a few games into the playoffs. What did he get? Three years at $3.7. Vesa Toskala? He started half of San Jose’s games and had a pretty good record. What did HE get? $4M a year!
Damn, it’s a good time to be a young goalie with unfullfilled potential and nothing proven. You can make a mint!

Is Chicago’s medical staff out of their f*cking minds?
How many times does this guy need to get blown up before they pull the plug? He looked like a wounded animal after that Stuart hit in Game 4. He looked like he wanted to crawl inside a cave and die.
