Is Bryzgalov Feeling The Pressure In Philly?

from Anthony J. SanFilippo of the Daily Times,
Now in the crosshairs in Philly, Bryzgalov is not handling things well. He’s become a media star on HBO, mugging for the cameras while proselytizing on the universe, Russian vodka, Chinese tigers and the attractiveness of his dog.
Just because he’s gregarious in front of an audience, however, it doesn’t mean he’s a pillar of reliability in front of a net in a city where the pressure to win is felt before the plane you arrive on touches down at the airport.
Already this season, Bryzgalov has blamed his defense for not using the four little words of communication, stated publicly that he has no confidence in himself, said he felt he was lost in the woods, said his teammates need to be better clearing out the front of the net and dropped an F-bomb on live television when asked about how he’s playing.
That’s the very visual example of cracking under pressure.
