Is Canada Afraid Of The KHL

...But in Canada, some commentators see the incident as something more: a threat to the K.H.L.’s existence itself. That may seem like an extreme conclusion to draw; no European commentators have done so, even though they have long observed Russian hockey from a much closer vantage point. But however valid the extreme view may or may not be, those commentaries coming from Canada may also be about something else again — a wish that the K.H.L. will fail.
