Matt Moulson’s OT winner. Was it a goal? Or not? You make the call in the comments section:

Well, that settles it. Goal, by a tally of 1-0.
Thanks for participating, Mog.

I think it’s a goal. Kind of a cheap way to lose a game though.

To that, I say, “Cheaper than losing in a shootout?” ![]()

Goal. Pretty or ugly all goals are equal, except shoot-out goals where no one gets credit.

Thank you… Down with the shootout! (More on that, surely, some other time.)
Opinions in the press box were varied. I thought it was close - but close isn’t supposed to be enough to overturn what was not called a goal on the ice.
It is what it is - and it was probably a goal - but, man, if anything screams inconclusive, it’s a 10-minute goal review…

Tough goal, but I think Toronto got it right. Still, I don’t think I would’ve put up much fight with an “inconclusive” determination either.

I think it was a goal, but did not see conclusive evidence via replay to overturn the on-ice official’s call. There was no clear shot of the puck with white ice between the edge and the red goal line. It’s not clear and they have waived off less.

sure there is. the view from the side shows that the puck is fully behind both posts, and the posts are an extension of the goal line.
