from Ted Leonsis at Ted’s Take,
I am tempted to out a few message board posters who sent me email after email ranting, cursing and telling me how tough and talented Vishnevski is and how much we needed him on our team; how smart NJ was to get him; and how badly we needed him in our lineup. I have two emails that suggested we trade Mike Green for him straight up. My favorite quote, “Mike Green is soft. He is pretty. He will never make a big impact in the NHL while Vishnevski is tough; plays with snarl in his game; and is a stand-up, bone-jarring D man the likes we haven’t seen in DC since Scott.”
continued… and I would wait Ted. A few Wings fans may be able to work out a deal with you. I have a feeling one or two Wings dmen wil be available soon.

Ted Leonsis is an arrogant jerk and idiot to boot. He, along with his front office, are doing a heck of a job pissing off long time die hard fans with their constant mis-steps and miscues. Go ahead Ted, act like the child you are…

Wings dont need Vishnevski, they are stacked at the blue line.

StikSav, just curious what mis-steps and miscues you’re referring to that the Caps have done in the last couple years? Most long-time Caps fans I know, and new or renewed fans, are more optimistic about this current team than I can remember since the Cup finals team in the late nineties. I’m not criticizing, I’m just curious…

I have them same question as you penguinsfan…why so upset at Leonsis StikSav? I’m just curious. He always struck me as a very open and interactive owner, and actually enjoys the game. Locking up ovechkin and keeping green are clever moves, and he will probably lock up semin and backstrom to boot. What’s not to like?
